My wife and I were in Lancaster, Pennsylvania; her home town, for a family wedding. It rained all week but I had to get out and see some of the urban spaces that so fascinate me from my planning career. I really enjoyed this space even in the rain with a winter storm blowing into the area. The monuments to our nation’s Civil War also interested me. The Marriott Hotel is diagonally across from Central Market which is a farmers market started in 1730. It is the subject of another painting.
