This is Macon’s most popular alley (Mulberry Street Lane) as it has several restaurants and pubs. Tokyo Alley being one of those. The Downtown Grill is in the next brick building in the painting and is a great place for Martinis and to smoke a cigar. Had some great dinners, there too! The alley’s store fronts have detailed brick work and they take you back in time. As a counter to those aesthetics is this view of the old parking deck structure. As an urban designer the contrast in buildings styles caught my attention.
