This is an original drawing, with pen and archival ink on acid-free, medium-weight paper, +/- 5 ½” x 8 1/2”. It is one of a series of sketches of trees I have been making over several years. I am particularly fascinated by the pattern created by the intricate architecture of the branches as well as the way the light plays upon the texture of the tree-bark.
